Patricia Ann Hart

Patricia Ann Hart, 74, of Batesburg, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. Born in Prosperity, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Luther Gunter and Dorothy Jones Wheeler. Patricia was married to the late James Henry Snipes, Sr.  She enjoyed playing Candy Crush, swimming, and watching her favorite soap operas on television.

Surviving are her sons, Melvin Hart and James Snipes(Eloise Hall); daughter, Rebecca Snipes; and grandchildren, James Dillion Snipes, Brittney Snipes, Samantha Hall, Victoria Hall, Justin Hall, Bruce Hall, Jr., Adam Gunter, Allen Gunter, David Gunter, Melinda Gunter, Russell Gunter, Kayla Kneece, Michelle Kneece, and Jennifer Kneece. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Zendaya Robinson, Derrick Cyrus, III, Abriana Robinson, Jayonte Wise, Ka'leeyah Hall, Kamryn Hall, Caleb Rhodes, Kaden Hall, Peyton Robinson, Sophie Hall, Paisley Hall, and Braylen Jumpp; her sister, Julie Williams, and brothers, Graylen Gunter and Larry Gunter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Kneece.

No formal services will be held at this time.  Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family.
