AIKEN, SC—Paul Roosen, Major, USMC Retired, 94, passed away July 19, 2019 in his home surrounded by loving family, friends, and caregivers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of seventy-four years, their six children, twenty-one grandchildren, and forty-five great-grandchildren.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at the old historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave., Aiken, SC. Final prayers and commendation will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
The Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234), has charge of arrangements.
