Pearl New Bartley

Graveside services for Mrs. Pearl New Bartley will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 4pm at Southlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bob Still officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Meeds, Michael C. Meeds, Bill Johnson, Billy Johnson, William Sojo, and Rob Still. The family will receive friends tonight Saturday from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Mrs. Bartley, 76, of Graniteville, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A lifelong resident of the Aiken area, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Effie C. New, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her sons, Steve Rachel Bartley, Warrenville; Jerry Bartley, Graniteville; daughter, Wanda Johnson, Aiken; grandchildren, Billy Johnson, Sheri Johnson, Amanda Bartley, Tony Meeds, Michael C. Meeds, J.C. Corley, and seven great grandchildren.
