Perry A. Seigler

New Ellenton, SC-Funeral services for Mr. Perry A. Seigler will be held Friday, December 20, 2002 at 3 PM from the graveside in Clearwater Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Randy Taylor officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mr. Seigler, 83, of New Ellenton, SC, husband of the late Monteen Seigler, died Thursday, morning, December 12, 2002.

Born in Aiken County, SC, a son of the late Charlie and Florence Plunkett Seigler, he had lived in Columbia, SC, for thirty years prior to relocating back to Aiken, SC, in 1985, where he was a member of Clearwater Branch Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II, he proudly served his country in the United States Army as an infantryman and was the recipient of a Good Conduct Medal, EAMET Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars and the American Defense Service Medal. He retired after thirty years of service as a Mechanic with Pet Dairy.

A sister, Virginia Cornwell, Aiken, SC and twenty-one nieces and nephews, survive Mr. Seigler.
