Memorial services for Mr. P.L. Hallman will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006, at 3:00 P.M. at George Funeral Home And Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken. Rev. Manuel Gunther officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Korean War Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 6234, North Augusta, SC, 29861 or to the Rakkasan Airborne Team Association in care of Clay Barker, 3910 Lochview Court, Myrtle Beach, SC., 29588-6759.

Mr. Hallman, 76, of Aiken, died Tuesday at the Heartland Hospice in Augusta.

Mr. Hallman, better known to his friends as P.L., was born in Newton North Carolina, son of the late, David A. and Iva Bolden Hallman. Mr. Hallman was retired from the Savannah River Site as a sheet metal engineer. He was predeceased by his wife Joette Hallman, in 2005. Mr. Hallman was a Baptist.

Mr. Hallman is survived by three sons, Johnnie Judy Hallman, Greenville, SC., Rick Wendy Hallman, Aiken and Daniel Hallman, Aiken.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
