Phillip R. Heath

Graveside services for Mr. Phillip Raymond Heath will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11am at the Boyd Family Cemetery on Chime Bell Church Rd, Aiken with Rev. David Richardson officiating. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. The family will receive friends tonight Thursday from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hollow Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 270 Independent Blvd, Aiken, SC, 29803.

Mr. Heath, 75, of Aiken, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence.

A lifelong resident of Aiken, he was the son of the late Geddings and Sarah Lowe Heath. Phillip was a retired welder. He loved to hunt, fish, and work in his garden, but most of all spend time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Peggy H. Heath. He is survived by a son, Raymond Denise Heath, five daughters, Judy Cliff Bridges, Teresa J. R. Willing, Phyllis Robbie Garvin, Gail David Keller and Robyn Heath, all of Aiken, brothers, Carrol Harriet Heath, Aiken, Harold Heath, Harlem, GA, a sister in law, Gloria Carter, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
