Ralph Albert Manton

Mr. Ralph Albert Manton, 80 of Aiken, died Friday, July 8, 2011 at his residence at The Reserve Club. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10am at First Christian Church, Kerr Ave. at corner of Silver Bluff Rd, just off Whiskey Rd.. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER is assisting the Manton Family.

Ralph co-owned a cork and wood manufacturing business with his brothers for 35 years. He spent his retirement years doing what he loved most; traveling and playing golf. Ralph gained an appreciation and love for art and a passion for humor. He never turned down an opportunity to make those around him laugh and enjoy life. We will miss Ralph dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Manton, Aiken; a son, David Michael Manton, Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Elisa Joy Manton Raskin, Roslyn, NY; a step daughter, Kacey Caryn Lezak, Naples, FL; two brothers, Jerome Manton, Melville, NY and Stephen Manton, Boca Raton, FL. He is also survived by three grandsons, Geoffrey Raskin, Roslyn, NY, Steven Raskin, Roslyn, NY and Alexander Manton, Charlotte, NC.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Aiken County SPCA, Trinity Hospice, or any Cancer Research Foundation.
