Ralph Robert Tison

Mr. Ralph Robert Tison, 89, of New Ellenton, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at Eden Gardens, Aiken, after a recent illness. He was a native of Columbia, SC and worked in security at the Savannah River Plant. Mr. Tison was a World War II veteran who served in the Air Force in the Pacific.

Surviving are his wife, Marian Cates Tison; his daughter, Gail Tison Cheeley, Mendham, NJ, a granddaughter, Ashley Cheeley Shippey; a grandson, Charles Andrew Cheeley; a sister, Jean Tison and a brother, Thomas Fripp Tison, Jr., both of Columbia, SC.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 115 Greenville St. SW Aiken, SC 29801.
