Ray Charles Anthony Allen

Ray Charles Anthony Allen, beloved son, father, and companion, passed away on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, at the age of 61.

He was born on Monday, July 30th, 1962, in New Orleans, LA and resided in Aiken, SC.

Ray was a dedicated Executive Chef at Prime Steakhouse and brought joy to many with his culinary skills. He will be remembered for his love of cooking and his warm personality.

Ray is survived by his mother, Ruby Mae Allen of Macon, GA; his companion, Gwendolyn Harper Epps of Aiken; and his two sons, Ray Allen and Deion Allen. He is predeceased by his father, Clarence Willie Allen Jr., as well as his siblings, Clarence, Judy, Cathy, Paul, and Mark Allen.

A memorial funeral service will be held at The Historic George Funeral Home Downtown Chapel in Aiken, SC on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, at 2:00pm.
