Raymond Lloyd Ishmael

Raymond Lloyd Ishmael, 75, husband of Ruth M. Chamberlin Ishmael, died May 18, 2009 at Georgetown Community Hospital. He was born March 29, 1934 in Wheelersburg, OH to the late Walter and Oma Percell Ishmael.

He worked as a tool and dye maker, was a business owner, member of Safe Harbor Baptist Fellowship, volunteer of Big Brothers, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children: Peggy Petty Rodney of Georgetown, KY, Susan Victor Jim of Aiken, SC, John Ishmael of Atlanta, GA, and Jeffrey Ishmael Henry Velasco of Oakland, CA. Grandchildren: Alex Petty, Katie Sebastian, Rebecca Jones, Robert, Elizabeth, Ellen, and Will Victor. Great Grandchildren: Conner and Makayla Sebastian. Brothers: Richard Mary Ishmael of Georgetown, KY and Ralph Norma Ishmael of Goldthwaite, TX. He was preceded in death by brother, Paul Ishmael.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2pm Fri. May 22, 2009 at Victory Life Church, Georgetown, with Rev. Jeffrey Ishmael officiating.
