Richard Jay. Kaufman

A memorial service for Mr. Richard Jay Kaufman, Sr. will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:30am at Grace Brethren Church, 144 Talatha Church Rd. Aiken with Rev. Steve Taylor officiating. Memorial donations may be made to "My Father's House", 808 York St. NE, Aiken, SC 29801.

Mr. Kaufman, 67, of Aiken, died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at his residence.

A son of the late Emil Charles Kaufman and Gladys Green Kaufman, he was born in Cleveland, OH and had lived in Florida before moving to Aiken in 1996.

He was a partner, certified public accountant and auditor with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Kaufman is survived by his wife; Mary J. Wallace Kaufman, Aiken, three sons; Richard Jay Kaufman, Jr., Alpharetta, GA, Ryan David Kaufman, Conyers, GA and Alexander Paul Kaufman, Charleston, SC
