Ricky Alan Rodgers

Ricky Alan Rodgers, 47, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 20, at the Rodgers Family Cemetery in Ward, SC with Rev. Josh McClendon officiating. Active pallbearers will be Cody Shealy, Chris Shealy, Austin Rodgers, Craig Rodgers, Richard Padgett and Wesley Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Whitfield and Gary Davis.

Mr. Rodgers was born in Greenwood, SC, son of Phyllis “Yvonne” Davis Rodgers and the late Paul Rodgers, Jr. He was a truck driver for Ricky Rodgers Trucking. He enjoyed golfing, shooting pool and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Tasha Shealy Rodgers; sons, Colten and Harley Rodgers; daughter, Courtney Rodgers; sister, Phyllis Shealy; Joni Pope; and brothers, Joseph and Tracy Rodgers. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Rodgers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Milton Shealy Funeral Home c/o Ricky Alan Rodgers Memorial.
