Robert Anthony "Tony" Heslewood

Robert Anthony "Tony" Heslewood, 63, of Gilbert, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. Mr. Tony was born in Spartanburg, SC, a son of the late Arthur "Jack" and Myrtle "Debbie" Lawrimore Heslewood. After being a multisport athlete at Gilbert High School, he went on to coach little league football. Tony was avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and spending time in the woods and swamp. He also loved grilling for his family and friends. Because of his laid back personality it was easy to quickly become friends with Tony, and he would be ready and willing to help anyone in need.

Surviving are his children, Jerrica Heslewood Frye (Harley), Rebekah Heslewood, Lindsey Pridgen and Travis Maurer; and grandchildren, Xander Liles, Jailynn, Cody, and Kyle Frye, Justin and Remede Pridgen. Also surviving are his siblings, Wayne "Bear" Heslewood, Lori Heslewood and Lisa Cason (Tony); along with many extended family members.

Tony will be honored with a private family Celebration of Life. Throughout this trying time, the family is grateful for all of the wonderful thoughts and prayers that they have received.
