A Funeral Mass for Mr. Robert Jerome Johnson will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:30am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Parkinson's Foundation, 501 NW 9th Ave, Miami, FL, 33136.

Mr. Johnson, 80, of Aiken, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of the late Clarence and Caroline H. Ackermman Johnson. He lived in Wausau, WI, and Bonita Springs, FL before moving to Aiken in 2003. He was a parishioner of St Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and a member of the James L. Hammons Marine Corps League Detachment 939, Confederate Air force, Elks and the Chamber of Commerce. He owned and operated Bob Johnson Chevrolet and Mazda in Wausau, WI for twenty nine years. He was an artist, who liked to play golf and bowl. He served his country in the US Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Stacey Marie Johnson. He is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Joyce Leguil Johnson, son, Michael J. Johnson and his wife Michelle Sorenson of Sioux City, SD; sister Carole Munn, Caldwell, ID; grandchildren, Landen Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Akela Sorenson, Aleigha Sorenson.
