Robert Michael Radford

Robert Michael Radford, 76, of Aiken, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born in Islip, New York, he was the son of the late Robert and Marjorie Caulson Radford.

Robert battled COPD for many years with strength, courage, and perseverance. He enjoyed bowling and always looked forward to spending time on the lanes doing something he truly loved. He retired in 2012 from the Columbia, South Carolina, office of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), where he worked as a hydrogeologist.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joan Geoffroy Radford; his sister, Sandy Harrelson (Barry); his nephew, Erik; his niece, Sharon; his great-niece, Rosa; and numerous extended family members.

In accordance with Robert's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Aiken Chapel is serving the Radford family.
