Robert O. Crouch

Robert Otis Crouch, 80, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Otis Odell and Ethel May Mills Crouch. Mr. Crouch retired as a locksmith from the University of South Carolina after 40 years of service. He was a volunteer fireman for the Circle Fire Department as well as a member of the Saluda Masonic Lodge 103. He was a faithful member of Union Lutheran Church of Leesville.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Snelgrove Crouch of the home; son, Tim Crouch; daughter, Lisa Oxley; grandson, Curtis Crouch and a sister, Ora Corley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Brunell Wightman, Arthur Dell Sweat, Anne Smith, and JD Shumpert.

The service for Mr. Crouch will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Union Lutheran Church with Pastor Lance Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2 until 3 pm in the sanctuary.
