Robert Eugene White

Mr. Robert Eugene White, Sr., 92, of Aiken, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Services will be private.

A son of the late Guy Woods and Ruth Daggett White, he was born in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. White was a retired US Navy WW II Veteran . He was a member of the South Carolina Orchid Society and the Aiken-Augusta Orchid Society. Mr. White was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, Lodge 577, West Des Moines, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Grace Eiler White of Aiken; daughters, Kristin Eiler White Munns Charles of Aiken, Gale White-Queck John of Conn Rapids, MN and Kim White of Roswell, Georgia; a son, Robert Eugene White Kazuko of Washugal, Washington; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, John Plodinec of Aiken.
