Ronald Stalvey

Ronald Stalvey, 78, of Batesburg, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022. Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late Dan and Ruth Louise Thomas Stalvey. Ronald was a good family man who loved the Lord and was always known to have a smile. He was a member of Liberty Bible Church of Batesburg.

He is survived by his brothers, Rev. Charles W. Stalvey (Brenda) of Leesville and Richard Stalvey (Deborah) of Gaston; nieces and nephews, Rev. Mickey Stalvey (Pam), Sherry Greene, Tammy Fallaw (Mike), Heather Pagon (Chris), Tyler Stalvey (Lauren), Darlene Lybrand, Dwayne Addy and Rhonda Lewallen (Daniel). He is also survived by 12 great nieces and great nephews as well as 5 great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Addy; and nephews, Charles David and Nick Stalvey.

The service for Mr. Stalvey will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Roland and Rev. Mickey Stalvey officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Bible Church, 928 Sandpit Road, Leesville, SC 29070.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Hartley House in Batesburg for their continuous care and dedication shown to Mr. Stalvey over the years.
