Sarah Gertrude Hallman Rodgers

Sarah Gertrude Hallman Rodgers, 99, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 30, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Spring Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Hallman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Lexington County, daughter of the late Elzie and Beatrice Hallman. She was married to the late Cagy Fleming Rodgers. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Brunson (Lois) Rodgers; Roy (Robin) Rodgers; Andrew (Rosalyn) Rodgers; Phillip (Patricia) Rodgers; Stephen (Joyce) Rodgers; daughters and sons-in-law, Agnes (Donald) Goff; Betty “Dolly” (Donald) Hall; Phyllis (Robert) Rollins; seventeen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rachel Rish; Cleo Hallman; and brother, Clifton Hallman.
