Sheila Anne Early, 75, of Saluda, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born in Eloy, Arizona, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Imogene Robinson Vasquez. She was the widow of Michael Dalton Early. Sheila was a founding member of Hollywood Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as church secretary for many years. Her church family meant the world to her, and she took great pride in serving the Lord and her community.
Sheila’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved helping raise her grandchildren and poured her heart into each of them. She also enjoyed deer hunting, shopping for a good find, and baking cookies for those she loved.
Surviving are her son, Richard Adams (Kayla); step-son, Erich Early; grandchildren, Briana Hall, McKayla Polito (Robert), Trey Adams (Shyann), Robbie Adams, Brook Powell (Brian), J.R. Adams, Laycee Adams, Constance Adams, Cerenity Adams, and Harlow Adams; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Adelynn, Cameron, Moriah, Harper, Garrison, Oaklynn, and Clayton; siblings, Chris Vasquez (Pat), Jennine Vasquez, and Gary Vasquez (Terry); along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Adams, and a brother, Michael Vasquez.
A memorial service to honor Sheila’s life will be held at 2 o’clock on Sunday, February 22nd, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, with Rev. Dan Garner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
