Funeral services for Mrs. Sudie Oney will be private. Mrs. Oney, 80, of New Ellenton, SC, died Thursday, evening, June 24, 2004 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Oney be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, c/o the Council on Aging, P.O. Box 3156, Aiken, SC 29802.

Born in Beckley, WV, a daughter of the late George and Sally Stump, she had moved to New Ellenton, SC six months ago. She had previously been a resident of Mt. Hope, WV and retired as a retail manager from A & S Curtain Shop.

A son, Charles ?Chuck? Oney, Cooper City, FL; daughter, Susan Friend-Pentz, New Ellenton, SC; brother, James Stump and sister, Mattie Allen, both of Beckley, WV; and grandsons, Danny and Christopher Friend, David and Eric Pentz, survive.
