Synthia Mcgee Wingard

Synthia "Cindy" McGee Wingard, 59, of Batesburg, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. Mrs. Wingard was born in Prosperity, SC, a daughter of the late Franklin Norell and Faye Louise Wilson McGee. She was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Jeremy McGee (Garianne) and Joseph McGee; and eight grandchildren, Jade, Serenity, Jeremiah, Skylah, Brooklynn, Phoenix, Anthony and Andrew. Also surviving are her siblings, Brian McGee (Beth), Monty McGee (Sherry), Frankie McGee (Christy), Linda Garner (Chris), Sharon Hudson (Randy), Chris McGee, and Candice McGee (Bobby); and sister-in-law, Michelle McGee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Deborah Garner and Michael McGee.

A funeral service for Cindy will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26th at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bill Paulling will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 25th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be: Jeffrey Rodgers, Brad Benac, Jason Garner,  Wesley Hartley, Kevin Gunter and Steve Hall.
