Tammy Cumbee (Cockrell)

Tammy Cumbee (Cockrell), 53, of Batesburg, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11th, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1186 Mt. Calvary Road, Johnston, SC 29832. The Rev. Mark Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Active pallbearers will be: John Watts, Sheldon "Opey" Gunter and Robbie Cockrell.

Ms. Cumbee was born in Prosperity, SC and is the daughter of Russell and Patricia Kneece Cumbee. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her parents; daughter and son-in-law, Ashleigh Watts (John) ; son, Jason Leaphart; step-son, Robbie Cockrell; brother, Tim Cumbee; grandchildren, JJ, Madison, Adalynn, Nataleigh, and Landon; and a special friend, Lyman Shealy. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Steve "Stevie" Cockrell.
