Timothy Kent Tidwell

Timothy Kent Tidwell, 66, of Gaston, tragically passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on October 18, 1959 he was a son to the late William Preston and Lois Irene Fleming Tidwell. Taken from this world far too soon, Tim will always be remembered for his big heart, infectious humor, and jokester personality. Tim loved spending time with his family and his motorcycle club, “Brothers Forever.” He enjoyed riding his bike, really anything with wheels, and especially loved fishing. Tim was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Tim leaves behind his adoring wife of 29 years, Marie Tidwell; seven children: Chris Sightler, Selena Stewart, Lesslie Sharpe (Eddie), Lisa Brown (Phillip), Elizabeth Smith (Travis), Cody Tidwell, and Shawn Cvengros; along with his beloved grandchildren: John, Violet, Khloe, Lyla, Jason, Harleigh, Sky, Bentley, Janie, Shannon, Christina, Braxton, Chris, Junior, Timmy, Carter, and Dean. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service for Tim will be held at 12:00 o'clock on Monday, March 16th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, with Pastor Robert Bumgarner of the Living Word Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 o'clock on Sunday, March 15th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.
