Vertie Smith

Mrs. Vertie Smith, 83, of Aiken died Thursday afternoon in North Augusta. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 3pm at Corinth Baptist Church with Revs. Kirby Bunton and Mike Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2pm until the time of the service.

Pallbearers will be: Tim Thomas, Bobby Sizemore, Michael Mills, Lowell Mills, Lenny Atkinson and Don Glover.

She is survived by her daughter; Carol Frye, Aiken, a sister; Zelma Hamby, Lexington, SC and two grandchildren; Bobby Sizemore, Taylors, SC and Bobby Jean Sizemore, Aiken.

Memorial donations may be directed to Corinth baptist Church or to the family.
