Virginia Baker Joyner

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Baker Joyner will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Burnettown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until the time of the service.

Mrs. Joyner, 90, life long resident of Aiken, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at her residence.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Buford L. Joyner, her son, Terry Joyner and a sister, Gloria Simmons.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Sandra Rogers Joyner, Aiken; daughters, Madie Ron Evans, Surfside Beach, SC, and Elaine Charlie Brown, Aiken,; grandchildren, Melissa Stephen Hattrich, Phil Angela Joyner, Bobby Diana Joyner, Kevin Quinne Evans and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Denson, Virginia Beach, VA, and Betty Gray, Waynesboro, VA.
