Wayne Wood, 53, of Pelion, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Hall Town Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bug Hall, Jackie Still, Marty Shealy, Micheal, Logan Shealy, and Micheal Thomas. Mr. Wood was born in Aiken, SC, son of Doug Wood and Shirley Still. Mr. Wood enjoyed mechanic work and model cars. Surviving are his wife, Cindy Wood; son, Andrean Wood; step-sons, Josh Painter; Chris Chancy; daughter, Hope Wood; step-daughters, Stephanie Painter; Jenny Painter; brothers, Micheal, Don and Ron Wood; and eighteen grandchildren.
