William Bell Jr.

William Hollis Bell, Jr., 68, of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Mr. Bell was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late William Hollis Bell, Sr., and Alice Elizabeth Knight Bell. He was a chemical engineer and had a P.E. Status. Before settling in Columbia and starting his job at South Carolina Electric and Gas, he was employed by Bechtel Engineer. Mr. Bell was a part of the nuclear cleanup on Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Ann Bott and Cheryl Lynn Bell, and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Ross. Mr. Bell loved his family and will be greatly missed.
