William Ted Huggins

William Ted Huggins, 75, of Batesburg, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was born in Mullins, SC, a son of Lucille Lupo Hughes and the late William Huggins. Mr. Huggins was an United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Free Masons. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Margaret Ellen Huggins; daughter, Jacquelyn Elizabeth Roberson; granddaughter, Keira Elizabeth Roberson; honorary daughter, Julia Chavarria; and honorary granddaughters, Dania and Tania Chavarria. Also surviving are his mother; sister, Kathy Felder (Jessie); brothers-in-law, William E. Varney, Stephan Lee Varney, Robert Affolter; sister-in-law, Victoria Ann Affolter; and many extended family members. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Huggins; and step-father, Ray Hughes.

The memorial service for Ted will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 24th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with burial following in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
