Willie Ruth King

Mrs. Willie Ruth King, 77, of Aiken, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 5pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with Rev. David Hardy officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. King was born in Decatur, AL and had lived in Somerville, AL and then Greenville, SC before moving to Aiken almost thirty years ago. She was a nurse and loving caregiver, working for many years at the former Aiken Nursing Home and Aiken Hospital. She also attended Cedar Creek Church.

She is survived by three sons, Michael H. Fowler Renee', Aiken, Gregory D. Fowler, Aiken and Ronald V. Fowler Varanda, Asheville, NC and three grandchildren, Bryan Ashley Fowler, Nicholas Scott Fowler and Mindy Brooke Fowler.

Paul Bearers are Christopher and Rayette Godson, Nicholas and Erica Witter, Kayla Godson, Walter Ray, and Jonathon Ray.
