Wyman P. Boyd

Funeral services for Mr. Wyman "Pos" P. Boyd will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2007 at 11am at George Funeral & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, Aiken with Preacher John Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will Keith Derrick, Bret Clark, Mitch Clark, Joe Boyd, Mike Boyd, and David Stouber. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Association, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.

Mr. Boyd, 70, of Aiken, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Carriage Hills Plantation Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Aiken.

Mr. Boyd was born in Evans, GA to the late Ruben and Salley McGee Boyd. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken. "Pos" graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. He retired as a chief supervisor from DuPont Savannah River Site and Westinghouse.

In addition to his parents, "Pos" was predeceased by his sister, Gertrude McCarty. He is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Patsy Fulmer Boyd, daughter, Kim Kimball Max Pennington, Burnettown, brother, R.B. Boyd, Evans, GA.
