Wyman “Pug” Bruce Eidson, 81, of Leesville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the loving son of the late Gertrude Warren Eidson and Fred Eidson, Sr.
Wyman was a man who loved life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course at The Ponderosa, fishing whenever he could, and caring for his beloved Pekingese dogs: Smokey, Buddy, and Mikey, just to name a few. They brought him so much joy over the years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Teresa Baker and Julie Warren; sons, Joe and Raymond Warren; and his nephews, Timothy and Fredrick Eidson. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brandon, Cassie, Sarah, Chase Warren, and Jason Baker, who will always cherish his memory. Wyman is now reunited with many loved ones who went before him, including his longtime companion, Inez Warren; his children, Jeffery and Susan Warren; and his brother, Fred Walter Eidson, Jr.
A graveside service celebrating Wyman’s life will be held at 2 o'clock on Sunday, October 19th, at Batesburg Cemetery, with military honors. Serving as active pallbearers will be:Tryston and Grayson Baker; honorary pallbearers will be: Timmy and Dale Eidson, and Jason and Ronnie Baker.
Wyman will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for family, and the many smiles he shared with those around him.
