Wyman Bruce Eidson

Wyman “Pug” Bruce Eidson, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the loving son of the late Gertrude Warren Eidson and the late Fred Eidson, Sr.

Wyman was a man who loved life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time on the golf course at The Ponderosa, fishing whenever he could, and caring for his beloved pekingese dogs, Smokey, Buddy, and Mikey, just to name a few. They brought him so much joy over the years.

A graveside service celebrating Wyman’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Batesburg Cemetery, with military rites. Serving as active pallbearers will be Tryston and Grayson Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy and Dale Eidson, and Jason and Ronnie Baker.

Wyman will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for family, and the many smiles he shared with those around him.
